A Journey In The World Of Metals

The focus on this project is based on developing knowledge about metallic material and applying them into a lighting object. I studied characteristics and properties of different kind of metal and I practically got to knew their physical properties within the application in the metal workshop. I developed my metal lamp mainly using the techniques of bending and riveting which I found during the research process the most fascinating from a structural and aesthetic perspective. I decided to develop the shape in a twin-like morphology, thanks to which two different users can better regulate the beam of light in different directions within the same lamp as they please.
